Bea and Cheryl raising community awareness of the need to END POLIO NOWOn October 24, 2022, World Polio Day, we met at the local Foodland to greet folks with information about the effort to END POLIO NOW. While the numbers of polio victims has fallen, polio still exists and while it exists anywhere, it could quickly exist everywhere. When folks heard of the effort of volunteers to eradicate the disease and then learned of the opportunity to have their funds matched 2 to 1 by the Gates Foundation, they donated.
